    Best way to tell is to compare yourself. There is a demo at the MainConcept site. It does a pretty nice job, but I still prefer TMPGEnc in output quality and features.

    The addition of the MainConcept encoder to Premiere 6.5 is a welcome addition. The "Cleaner" software included in 6.0 was awful.
