  1. I have been able to create 10 minute chapter markers in DVDSP without a problem. The past week however I am not able to create chapters because the time code only shows as 0:00:00 when trying to edit the markers. I follow the same routine which is rip through 0sex and import the m2v and ac3, add track and create markers. Do I have to reinstall dvdsp or is it a problem with 0sex? Thanks

  2. first of all.. it's no Osex.. it's OS 10 or OS X.

second, i believe you didn't have the right .m2v file... meaning your video file is not properly done.

third, did you update to Quicktime 6.0.2? if you did.. then you might have problem from that too.

  3. you have to set your mark either manually or in the timecode, hit the marker button and rename the marker and hit return, I have a problem sometimes previewing the video with markers set though.

In DVDSP, in the thumbnail for the video track, click the chapter button.
When the chapter list opens, option-doubleclick any of the chapters (including "Start of track").
To add a chapter marker, click "New marker" (I think that's what it says).
A marker is created right where you were (probably at 00:00, unless you moved the playhead.)
In the upper right, enter the timecode where you want that marker.

So you see, create the marker, then move it. By default it is created at 00:00.

It's the option double clikc that gets people. By the way, when you enter a timecode, DVDSP finds the closest valid timecode.
