  1. Hi All
Can you help - have downloaded a very good copy of the above but when I convert to mpg-1 the audio and video are out of sync - starts fine but loses about 3 secs by the end - any clues - am using tmpgenc and virtualdub for my work. Also when i tried to create the vcd using nero and letting nero do the encoding the quality was poor - do i need some nero add ons ?

  2. Nero is mainly Burning program - it does lousy job at encoding, stick to TMPGEnc. Was your original AVI out of synch too or is it just Mpeg1 that came out of TMPGEnc?

  3. thanks for the reply - the original avi was perfect - i got error messages when opening the avi file in virtualdub to create the wav file - I think the wav file must get stretched - it told me to recompress it but no idea how to do that

  4. Open the AVI in Virtual Dub, go Audio->Full Processing Mode, then Audio->Compression->no compression(PCM), then Audio->Conversion->44100Hz->OK, then File->Save WAV and choose name for file and save it to desktop. This extracts the audio, now just load both files into TMPGEnc and encode as usual - should work just fine.
