    is there a way to join .mov files? if so, what software to use?

    if not possible, is there a way to convert my .mov files to AVI so I can join them all together later? thanks.

    If you have a mac you can find mov file tools. If you have a PC and want to convert mov to AVI try mov2avi - see http://guiguy.wminds.com/downloads/mov2avigui/down.html for details.
