  1. My MPEG file will not burn! Nero says something along the lines of 'invalid stream 25fps'. if i go ahead and burn, then the vcd dosent play on the vcd player.

    I goto TMPGE>MPEG TOOLS
And i try multiplexing it to MPEG-1 VCD
and i go to the merge-cut menu and try making it MPEG-1 VCD

    And it still dosent work!

Why can't everything be simple??!! And how can i just make a normal VCD mpeg??!!

BTW, this is a different vcd to the one i was talking about in my last topic.

    'invalid stream 25fps'
This is a PAL format, did you make sure to check the box PAL instead of NTSC. Are you in a PAL region?

Stupid questions im asking but they may help

  3. Actually SLBOSS926, that is a very valid question. I checked out Hong's user profile and it doesnt have anything listed (maybe the moderator's could put something in user profile for NTSC/PAL).

Hong, could you fill out your user profile so we would know what VCD player (is it a VCD player or a DVD player) you are trying to play your VCD in. Does it play in your computer DVD player? What was the source? What settings did you use in TMPGENC/CCE? Please give us a little more info and we'll see what we can do to help you out. With the information we have to go on:

It sounds like you are using TMPGENC to make your VCD? Did you make it a standard VCD, i.e. 1150bps 352x240/288 or did you try a XVCD? Does your VCD/DVD player play other VCD's?

The vcd player is a TAGvision, thats all i know and my dvd player is broken. It works fine on the computer.

When you said select PAL, did you mean selecting PAL on nero or TMPGe?
The video is the Exorcist 2000, it was converted from a DivX file. Sorry, but cant give much other info because i wont be home for the next 3 days.

In Nero if you use the wizard, as soon as you choose videocd the next panel has options. One of them is NTSC or Pal. Choose PAL
There's not much to do but then I can't do much anyway.
