  1. i have scoured the site looking for info on how to convert ntsc vcd to pal vcd

    in the faq there is some info and it says rip the mpeg from the dat thenin tmpgenc load the mpeg ans select pal/ntsc?


    is there a button for this or is it under a menu if so where i can't find it

  2. 1. Use VCDGear to convert from dat to mpg (free from the web)
    2. Use TMPGEnc to convert from ntsc/mpg to pal/mpg (free from the web)
    3. Just select the PAL template in TMPGEnc

    I presume you have already copied the dat file to hard disk

  3. i did that but when i play the disc on my dvd through my video it still plays black and white

    Even though you get black and white pictures, does it appear to play smoothly, or choppy?

  6. Is your DVD player Multi-System? If it is, try chnging from PAL to NTSC. If that doesn't work, when encoding, select all the correct templates. 352x288.... and so on and so on rather than NTSC's 352x240

  8. it will play ntsc but only through the scart, not through the video

    i have used the pal template 352x288 25fps 4:3 625 line (pal)

    it converts a divx to pal which play colour through the video but it does'nt change the mpeg to a pal one

    i tried changing my dvd player from pal 2 ntsc and still no joy
