  1. Hi there~
I'll try not to make this too long winded

I recently purchased a VCD from someone and upon receiving it in the mail, I found that it wouldn't play on my computer. This was the second VCD I've ever gotten, and the first one worked fine for me (but was purchased from another person). I didn't know what to do, so I did a search on google and found this website. I looked over the FAQ's and the newbie help and the How To's. I downloaded Windows Media Player 7.1 and also the Nimo Lite codec pack (which I installed AFTER the WMP installation) but still every time I try to play it, it gives me the message that "This file type is not supported". I tried downloading various programs that claimed to be able to play VCD's on your PC and none of them worked for me either. I also checked the IOSUBSYS file in my windows folder to make sure that it was in fact there and named correctly, which it was. I am at a loss for what to do next, is it possible that there is something wrong with the VCD and NOT my computer?

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you so much
