    Ok all i want 2 be able 2 do is narrow the fram rate and sound qaulity of a svcd move so i can fit on a 2 cd,s i have treid using tmpg 2 do this but the boxers were it says fram rate isnt highlighted so i can a just it 2 make the file smaller plzzz could you tell me step by step how 2 do this.

    While i am here, i am just about to buy a new dvd player but dont no which 1 to buy as i dont no which is the best format to play on a dvd player all i want is the closest qaulity to dvd. which is the best format divx svcd or xscvd.

  2. Hey, Jamie, sorry to tell you, but you can't "narrow" frame rate, whatever that means. Since you are from UK, i assume you are using PAL, so you have to use 25 fps for you SVCD. If you want reduce file size, you can lower bitrates, both video and audio. Then you said you want being close to "DVD quality", I don't think that's possible. No one can get closer to DVD quality while lower bitrates......They raise them.
