About the new ATI-All in Wonder Card

Has any of you have any comment on this card? I am planning on buying one because i am interested in the state of the art quality of the video card and all it's other capabilities like capturing videos. I just want to know how does it compare to like those from Canopus when capturing videos. I have read that the package even comes with Pinnacle Studio 8 software which makes me think a lot really. I was thinking of buying the ADVC 1394(i don't know if i am correct with the model number) first and then i read about this ATI card. I thought, if i can get the same quality capturing capability from the ATI card then why not just go for it instead of buying a cheap video card and then a capture card which is not cheap at all( you know i am trying to go for quality for my money). Let me know if anyone has any feedback and thanks.

The only information I've come across on this card that goes into any detail is an article over at Toms Hardware Guide: http://www.tomshardware.com/graphic/02q4/021002/index.html
It's a little early to draw any comparisons since as far as I know it hasn't even hit the market yet and at a price of $500, that’s pretty steep for an unproven product.

Well, I had an ATI card, and one of the major complaints most people seem to have with them is blurryness. They're not bad, but just like GeForce VIVO cards, they cost a significant amount of money, and it seems that you can get maybe even better with a cheap generic bt8x8 chipset card and the proper drivers. A lot cheaper anyways. I'd save the $ and spend it on something that will make a difference. Unless you get a REALLY good say, pinnacle systems card, it don't seem to get much better. Oh. Make sure you use the S-vid in. Good luck.
