ok i am able to convert avi to mpeg 1 for a vcd but when it plays out on my computer or dvd player it gets fuzzy. how can get this fixed and a clearer picture. i use TMPGE and Unlead DVD Movie Factory. Is there a better way to do it that will make my quality better?

Have a look at FX WRITER at www.jhepple.com It's free and although it takes a long time, the result is very good and I have not had sound sync problems like I get with TMPG. It is also very simple to use.

i tried fx writer but it wont load my files says they are unsuportted

Is the original AVI file good quality

So is the encoded mpeg poor quality when played on your pc (before burned to VCD). Are you using a standard VCD template.

i guess it is standard how would i change it in my program and it is poor quality when full screen and it looked the same on tv when burned
