Hi All,
I want to capture some video (dont care about the audio) from my video player. This player has a Scart lead.
My PC is equipped with a Canopus DV Storm 2 card which has the following connectors.
Composite video (CVBS), RCA jack
S-Video (Y/C), mini-DIN
I would like to know if
a) Can I get a cable which would convert the Scart to one of the above
b) If so, which one would give me the best quality
c) Is there any other info that I should be aware of when capturing from the Video via my card etc.
Also, which software package would be best to capture the video ?
Once, again thanks in advance to all the peeps here at VCD.

Hi
Purchase a scart adapter. This will have s-video or composite connections and audio left and right. Then purchase a video lead and an audio lead that is left and right audio on one end and a stereo jack on the other.
Sorry I am not familiar with your capture card so cannot help with software.

Hey thanks Fozzee, much appreciated.
I've also managed to find a store which does these cables..
Nice one.
