I just have to wait for a CD burner program to work 100%. -
Well, I haven't been burning VCD's in a while, but... Never had any troubles with making VCD's , Svcd's with NERO 5535+ and win 2000 pro sp2 or sp3. What speed are you burning them at?
Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they? -
With Nero 5.5.9.14 under the ISO tab disable (uncheck) Joliet and re-burn. This should allow you to play the VCD's.

Same here m8, running Windows2000PRO SP3 and the latest Version of Nero and can read and write Vcd's and Svcd's without any problems.
And that include's buring them at 24xSpeed. -
