hi guys,
I Ripped the DVD using DVD2AVI software & then created the mpeg using TMPgEnc to make a VCD.I used Easy CD Creator 5 platinum edition (Strangely Nero 5.5 does not let me burn the VCD.The Burn Button is absent on the tool bar). The burning & the encoding takes place smoothly but when i play the VCD the video stream & the Audio stream dont sync. Tha tis the Audio is not in tandem with the Video.can anybody please tell me where i have gone wrong & what I should do to correct this,
thanks,
Sameer

1) Contact me in person regarding Nero 5.5
2) When you playback the VCD, where does the A/V sync problem occours, on the PC or on the DVD Standalone ?

Simply..
A) Nero burns VCDs just fine, most likely operator error on your part.
B) TMPG has known A/v synch issues, I suggest using the demux option under mpeg tools (Tmpg). Then switching over to BBmpeg and remux those files back together. BBmpeg gives you the option to adjust your startup time of both the Audio & Video
