    King-Of-DK,
I'm not going to insult you by asking if the frameserver was up and running, but by chance did you recently upgrade your version of VirtualDub to v1.4.10? If so you need to place the msvcr70.dll in your C:\Windows\System32 folder to get it up and running. There's a link posted somewhere on the site on where download it and if you can't find it just PM me and I'll send it to you.
    Warning! I'm baaaaaaaaack

  6. Whenever i frameserv from VDub,i get a file *.vdr, and it is this file i canīt load anymore in TMPGenc i get an error message like this "file cannot load or unsupported format" .I have tried older versions of both Vdub and TMPGenc, nothing works. The original AVI is in Xvid codec, could that be it? I am currently reencoding the file to DIVX,and will try if that works.I am trying to put permanent subtitles on an AVI.

I believe that is your problem because I had the same with TMPGEnc and xvid. I got TMPGEnc to accept frame serving from VD by not including the audio.

I get similar problems when trying to convert XviD. I have the XviD codec installed, and ffdshow. If I just want to watch XviD then there is no problem. I just enable XviD in ffdshow. However, the problems start when I want to convert. Not only can I not load a Virtualdub frameserver, but I cannot use TMPG at all on occasions! I find I need to be prepared to disable XviD in ffdshow, and uninstall XviD from time to time. And what works for one XviD doesn't necessarily work for another. And I seem to get most problems with the XviD codec installed and ffdshow XviD playback enabled. Altogether, it's a pain in the ass.
