  1. Someone please help me!!! I figured out how to use tinra to convert my real media files into really nice avi files! I mean wow! But like everything else I've tried the audio/video is out of sync. The how to section says to use VirtualDub or something like it to resync it, but I can't figure out how to use it. These programs don't make sence to me. Also, I know that I am going to need to use tmpgenc to make it into an mpeg so I can make it a vcd, but I don't know how to do that either. Can someone please tell me how to use these programs. I was so pleased w/ how nice the picture and sound were if I could get them together right this would be sooooo fantastic!

You need to spend some more time reading the guide's, sounds like you don't even have TMPGEnc, but want people to tell you how to use it...

  3. #1 I have installed EO Video, TINRA, TMPGEnc, Sound Forge, VirtualDub, and GoldWave since Saturday morning, so yes I do have TMPGEnc installed.
#2 I have read at least a dozen of the guides on this site. Some make great sence and were quite easy to understand. However after trying to impliment them nothing seemed to work right.

Yes, I would like someone to tell me how to use these programs! Duh! If I didn't why would I ask?! If you were having trouble w/ something that was supposed to be easy, but never seemed to come out right wouldn't you ask someone for help? Do you plan to help me or are you just going to sit there and pass judgement on me? I'm sorry if I am giving you attitude, but honestly I am quite aggrivated at this point. Of the 3 boards I posted on I got one answer and I thought it was going to help, but when I tried that it didn't work. Everyone seems to sware by these programs but I can't seem to understand how to make them work for me too. It's quite upsetting. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or what. I have even gone to the websites for Virtualdub and TMPGEnc in hopes of getting a better idea of what they do and maybe figure out what I'm not doing right, but this stuff just says the same vague stuff.

I don’t pass judgment on anyone, I thought my post would encourage you to read the guides and find the help you needed, because you had only came here a short time ago.

This is recommendation I/we (Moderator) would make to everyone.... Start here > Guide

The guides are many, and may have provided you with many answers, far more than a reply from myself or others, and in a much quicker time.

Your questions are many, and require many answers, again the guide's would have provided a better response. If you require help, try to ask one question at a time !

You have an AVI, you now have TMPGEnc, hit the "Browse button" for your AVI then load a VCD template
See the "How to" > Convert, its there for you to read
