  1. when I load the d2v file for the video part and then have to load the audio file, which file is it? the encoded audio.mp2 file or the extracted audio.ac3 file? Becuase Tmpeg will only let me do the .mp2? is this correct?

    thanks

  2. dvd2avi should've only decoded 1 audio track (the audio track u selected in dvd2avi). it should be a wav file.

in dvd2avi, did you tell it to decode dolby digital (rather than demux)?

  4. I usually let DVD2AVI change the audio to 44.1KHz by selecting Dolby Digital then decode, and 48->44.1KHz to MID. You can experiment with the other settings, but usually MID works for me. It will take longer for DVD2AVI to finish though. I know there are better ways to decode the audio, but I'm lazy and like having the same program do both.
