Newbie here. After the suggestions found here I bought the Canopus AVDC-100 and it ROCKS!
I make my VHS collection into MPEG1 on VCD. These play on my home DVD player and laptop.
If I make my VHS into Divx on CD will that CD paly on my home DVD player? I have a Panasonic unit that plays DVD, VCD, CD, mp3 on CDR.
