  1. I have an AVI file with an AC3 soundstream. When I frist tried to convert it to svcd or mpeg2 with Ulead video editor 6.5 or TMPGEnc it shows no sound stream. But there is a soundstream because I have extracted using virtual dub used b sweet to change it to wav, mp3, wav back to ac3 and everthing else even used TMPGEnc to encode the audiostream. Finally when I get a format that TMPGEnc will recgonize without giving me that Illegal MPEG stream. It is out of synch. I have used gold wave to stretch the stream and saved as a wave file. Questions is where to now or am I doing something completely wrong.

Still on track, in my opinion. Go back to TMPGEnc load your original video as video input, and your new wave file as audio input. The new file should work out if the audio was drifting before.
    Hello.
