I am in the process of buying a Mac G4. I would like to ad a dvd burner sometime there after. Which DVD burner would be a good choice to use with a Mac? Are the any out ther besides those supplied by Apple?

Most people use one of the pioneer drives, such as the A03. What I have read is that the new powermacs have a non-standard size front bay door, so third party (or aftermarket) drives won't fit. Either this is an oversight, or apple wants you to add the drive when you buy it. Even though the drive mechanisms are the same, the front of the tray is different on the OEM drives. Try searching at macintouch.com for more.
