I noticed my mac doesn't have DVD burner. I don't have afford to replace burner, so I think another way.
I want to transfer to web provider through FTP, then I want to get the DVD file in my PC(windows XP)

I have PC at home, but my laptop is MAC that doesn't have DVD burner, but I want to create video with max since my PC is so heavy.....

    What is your recommend??

if you have a network at home to share your internet just do a transfer from mac to pc.

this might get more attention in the mac forum with that in mind. if you have a web storage account like gmail or something you can send your files to that then access with your pc to download them

ummm.... ftp will run at your isp upload speed. maybe 1mbps whereas networks will transfer up the speed of your harddrives... around 400mbps.

    aedipuss you are so rigth.

I overlook the original post and I though he wanted to FTP the files from the MAC to the PC (I do this all the time).

Sending the file to the isp will be really slow...
