Playing VCD's in Genica GN-800 DVD player -Help needed-

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I have the genica dvd player, and when creating VCD's using nero or ones that are bin files using cdrwin, they will play for about a minute before getting all jumbled and picture freezing, but still getting audio. The VCD's will work fine in my computer though. My friend gave me a VCD he created and it works fine. Could it be the media I am using (Imation)? They way I am creating them? or something else?

Any help is appreciated.

Im sorry, but I am not super familiar with creating vcd's so I am not sure exactly how to answer your question.
When I used nero I just chose vcd and dragged the pre-made mpg into the project and burned it.
when using the bin file here is the cue information that I loaded it with

FILE "D:\Video Projects\test.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:06:00

I see. Please read the Newbie Guides (I wonder how many times have I wrote that). Then go to Convert section at left and see how to format a MPEG file to used to make a (S)VCD, or DVD.

The bin files that I am using are VCD images that I have downloaded from the Newsgroups. So I am not creating the mpeg file myself.
Anyway after trying multiple things, I think it may be the player. It is skipping on mp3 disks that I make as well, and the disks work fine in a sony dvd player that plays mp3's
