  1. Hi guys Im the one who had the PAL to NTSC conversion problem for dvd authoring. well i managed to convert okay (finally!) However the DV files I captured in DVD workshop are in 4 gig chunks due to FAT32 limitation, I dont like the way they will be authored as seperate titles so I want to merge the MPEG2 DVD 6000 Bitrate I converted from them into one file. I have about 5 files to merge..

Please can u suggest a decent utility that will do this smoothly without any problems. Please consider that I would like to author this mpeg to a DVD 6000 bitrate

  4. TMPGEnc, under MPEG Tools. You can merge your M2Vs together.

You could have also used AVISynth to create a pseudo AVI that would have had all your segmented DV AVIs as one. The AVS (the file that AVISynth creates) is only a text file, so the file size isn't anywhere near that of your AVIs.

  5. Is TMPEG any good at joining flawlessly though?

How much does BJ_M think we make? You may also want to try AviSynth if TMPGEnc does not work the way you want it to.
