23.976 to 29 fps dvd-r

Ok when converting from film 23 to 29 fps with tmpge my settings are 3.2pulldown, constant quality[cq] , ntsc, 9 bits, GOP is 1 4 2
i cannot use 1 5 2 because of mydvd poblems with gop so 1 4 2 works max number of frames is 18 output interval is 1 , detect scene change ticked video source type non-interlace / the problem is the
conversion comes out with 5 seconds of stuttering about every 3-4
minutes, pal dvds come out ok using traxdata dvd-r work in all plays ie:
sony tosh samsung jvc dvd-r £1 each

try bringing down the max bitrate to 8 or get bitrate viewer to check your .mpg's for being over the MAX bitrate.
