  1. I have an Apex 1500 and it can’t load VCD and SVCD I burned with Nero, tried many times still no luck Here are the detailed steps of last try, would appreciate for any help.

-Use pinnacle PCTV to capture videos from digit camcorder to AVI files, file size 2.5 GB.
-Use TMPGEnc Plus 2.51.33.127 to convert AVI to Super VCD NTSC, file size over 1GB
-Use TMPGEnc Plus to cut MPG file into 700m, choose type MPEG-2 Super VideoCD (VBR), able to play in computer
-Use Nero 5.5.9.9 express wizard to create Super VideoCD, selected ISO9660 and 8.3 file format, disable Joliett
-Not sure if I have SVCD plugin, the downloaded Nero 5.5.9.9 is about 12.1 MB, anyway it allows me to burn SVCD
-Notice after adding source file the size is only slightly over 600m
    -Successfully Burn SVCD, use Samsung 24x burner, Victor 32x 700mb 80min CD-R
-Put into Apex 1500, only shows “load”, also can’t play in computer.

Btw, I burned MP3 using Nero, Samsung burner and Victor CD-R before and it plays in Apex 1500.

  2. very odd that it wont play in your computer if it doesnt play in your computuer it woint play in apex... apex is mostly computer parts.... make sure you just use the default template in tmpengc for vcd or svcd then use the svcd or vcd tempolate in nero, dont change any of the settings in either except bitrate or filesize in the encoder... ive converted a bunch of avis and they all work in my apex's.
