    got the "Failed to record data to the cd" message when I try to burn whatever dvd,vcd or svcd format onto a disc. Can someone tell me why? I have installed the patch already. I'm going crazy.

    You should have a choice of using ULEAD or NTI drivers. Try using whichever one you are not using now.

    When I burn with my CD-R, the ULEAD driver always fails. When I burn with DVD-R, the NTI driver always fails!

    I've tried both of them. The ULead driver gives me the "Failed to record data to the cd" message. Well, the NTI one hangs my machine, nice job ULead. So is the plugin doesn't work at all? Anyone has the same problem and SOLUTIONS, please. HELP, HELP, HELP.
