i notice that you can download from yourself last night,but i only gained 45, downloading 2 gigs then the leval wouldnt go any higher.

Any idea if using this would register on my network as bandwidth used over the internet? Mine's limited, and I'd hate to waste it dloading off myself. Also, can't I just keep an older version? You mentioned older versions of kazaa fail after a while in another thread... how long do you figure 1.7'll last? Oh, and is this rating system based on your username, or what?

This seams to very from one person to another, I sent the hack to a friend (kazaa participation program 1.3), and told him to use 50 1K files in his shared folder, he only ran it a few times to reach 1000 (Max)

On some machines the number goes up 1 for every 10Mb uploaded. The trick is to stop sharing all your big files, make a folder called fake and copy and paste the same file in there 100 times

After you reach 1000, use "pseudotr.exe" to reset your limits, if your on 56K you need to switch that upload limit back to what you had it on.

try it at 1K, then 10K, it took me an hour to get it to 1000

Oh and anyone reading this thread, the hack does not like firewalls, anti virus (with firewall) ie. Norton 2003, and a few were caught out with DAP (Download accelerator), well once the value is up to 1000 it will be easy to keep it there.

If you are worried, disconnect what every connects you to the internet, unplug your modem, that address is a local machine and does not use the internet. IE 6, bypass proxy for local addresses would also work, I seen no output to the internet at all, apart from the hack program testing server (which you can block)

1.7 may be still working, but how many people do you see ?, tonight I seen 5 million +, and Kazaa will disable it after a while.

u no i might be missing something..... but is kazza limiting people dl depending on the amount of files u have???????? because i did just dl kazza ver 2 and it had something at the bottom on a user saying low (number) , or medium (number)...... please tell me thats not what they are doing

"They" could be other users !, if your downloading from me and I can see your participation level is "low" I can see you may be downloading lots, but not uploading anything CANCEL

"They" could also be Kazaa, who could use the feature to give priority to those who are uploading the same amount as they download.

Hence the hack run it a few times to get "Supreme being" (1000)

Link to the hack ?.. Um I forgot where I got it from, it is on Kazaa, do a search for programs "kazaa_cheater_1.3.exe"

pseudotr.exe, well that came with one of the Kazaa lite programs, you can use it to set up your profile, search 99999 etc, things Kazaa lite wont let you set !

KingJohn, do you mind explaining how to use ptrack? I can't change my search results setting. There are four tabs: General, Shared Folders, Download Folder, and Download Filter. On the General tab, I can change my Max Search Results, but I can't figure out how to save the setting.

When you first load it, there may be several profiles, delete them all except the one that you are currently using.

So with the current profile selected, change all the settings and click "register profile"

To test it has worked, go into the settings in Kazaa lite, and click the TAB's, when you try and move out of the Advanced TAB it will give you a warning that you can only have a search set at 3 numbers hit cancel.

Any changes should be made with Ptrack. Also if you use the other cheater, it warns you it can only work with unlimited uploads, after you use it, use Ptrack again to set your upload limit

Awesome... thanks a lot. I could have sworn I'd tried that, but I guess not. Oh, I always have to "search more" to get additional results. So I search for whatever it is I need, then I click Search More. When the Search More is complete, I have ~420 results, and both the Search More and Stop Search buttons are grayed out. To get more results, I have to delete the last character of whatever it is I'm downloading, type it again, press Search Now, which returns the ~420 results I already had. Then, to exceed this 400 result limit, you have to press Search More on your second search. This gets you another 200 results, and you can continue this process indefinitely, as far as I can tell. Sound like the search more is working overtime, and easer way (Or so I am told) is to put the IP address of the supernode your connected too into a firewall, then it goes to another supernode with even more search results.

Never tried it myself as that’s cheating
