Have a DVD ROM and have just purchsed a DVD RW.
What is the simplist way to back up my commercial DVD collection?
I am not concerned with special features or chapters.
I would like a quick rip that would provide me with 1 disk for a standard 120 min movie with "near" DVD quality.
I have read several ways on the sight to rip DVD's that envolve several steps -- but all envolve trying to preserve special features, ect. I'm looking for a simplier way for the non-purist. Thanks C.

The forums are a buzz regarding a "One Click" solution to performing DVD copies. From what I understand there is a software tool that is being tested that can do this but it is not yet released to the public. So you will either have to wait or start learning those "Involved steps".
There are several How-to guides available explaining how you can copy just the movie. Here is the one that got me started....
