Ok I have followed all the instructions on this site. I'm trying to convert Two Towers form SVCD to DVD.
First I copied the MPG file form the SVCD to my hard drive, which turned out to be a little above 800megs. Next I ran DVD2AVI. I load up the MPG and preview it, it's 29.970 FPS FILM. For some reason the frame type is switching form Porgessive to something else starting with an "I" really fast, I cant tell.
After I save the project, I follow the Encoding isntructions exactly as said in Step 2 here, https://www.videohelp.com/mpeg2tovcd.htm
using this setting, if making DVD load
DVD (NTSC) if the video type is NTSC
DVD (NTSC) if the video type is FILM and also load the unlock template and change under Settings->Video->Frame rate to 23,967 and then the Encode mode to 3:2 pulldown when playback.
Hours go by and the encoding is done and I use Unlead Movie Factory to add nice little menus and what not to finish up the project. After it's burned at 1x I pop it into my Apex only to see the video jerk when the camera is movig or where there are fast movements. If two people are standing and talking, it seems perfect. Any quick movement results in a jerk. The sound is in sync proplery form what I hear.
I dont know what is wrong. Please help me on this matter. Thankyou
