  1. HI

I've just downloaded a film and it seems to be running in slow motion, the audio and the video are in sync. The rest of my films seem to play O.K but not this one. Has anybody got any ideas.

    Many thanks

    k b,
Some details about the file might help such as what codecs are involved.

  3. Are you using Windows Media Player? I downloaded a film (XviD codec and ac3 sound) and it runs in slow motion in Windows Media Player but works fine in another player! (I use Zoom Player.)

  4. Hi

The information you asked about; I've put the film in movie finder and got the following.

    File stream; div3 divx mpeg4
    Compressed stream; div3
Info; Low motion codec divx 3

A lot of my other films are the same format and play ok. I've downloaded the nimo light codec pack and installed it before putting this message on the board. Hope this will help you to find a solution to my problem

To the other question, I've downloaded xvid films and they are o.k

    k b,
You didn't mention what the audio codec was. I have to agree with larsli. More than likely what you've got is an avi file with ac3 audio as I've run into the same thing with WMP.
