  1. I read about how to convert from RM to AVI using TINRA on this site, but TINRA requires the RM file to be in my harddrive for it to be able to convert the file to AVI.

My file is currently on the internet right now, is there a way for me to do this on TINRA directly from internet RM to AVI? If not, is there a way I can download the RM file to my harddrive?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  2. First of all you need the older version of Real Player for Tinra to work. As for the file on internet, did you try to right click on the file and select save Target as:

  3. I have real player pro 8.

As for the file, it is embedded into the html file, so as soon as I open that particular page, the video automatically starts playing. If I enter the address of the rm file in the address field in internet explorer, real player automatically opens and starts playing it.

  6. Another program that may be able to download the Real Media file to your hard drive is called StreamboxVCR, a search on Google for StreamboxVCR will give you links to download sites - you'll also need the crack/patch to activate it.

Once it's on your hard drive you can use TinRa or another program called EO Video to convert it to AVI format.

    EO Video http://www.eo-video.com/

(EO Video 'may' work regardless of the version of Real Player that you have installed.
