    I was wondering about which SW is the best in terms of quality for creating VCD compatible MPEG I Streams.
    I have a Matrox which can capture MJPEG AVI, but i'm not satisfied with the quality of the MPEG output converted by LIGIOS Encorder. Also I notice that Others (like TVMPEG) are unable to handle MJPEG.

    I find that the LIGIOS output quality is not that good when it's played on VCD.

    I tried using TmpgEnc But I dont think It handles MJPEG Does it ??
    I mean the freeware version of TmpgEnc
