    In short, yes. But your dvd may or may not be able to read cd/rw.

  3. Most of the players that read CD-R's also read RW's... But, if you blank your RW, i think, you can burn a VCD with NERO on your RW, like you do with a normal CD-R

    My Samsung 711 will read cdr but will nt read cdrw

  5. On players that are designed to read CD-R/W, then CD-RW will play fine.

    On players that are not designed to read CD-R/W, then CD-RW often performs better.

    On original stand-alone VCD players and CD-i players, CD-RW may not work (standard CD-ROM drives often cannot read CD-RW).
