I have a Prob & Stat project where I am to find out how many computer are in a house. I've got many results, but most are from my friends who collect computers, so the results are a bit biased... I was hoping I could get some more normal results here.

5 computers. 2 for me, 1 for my mom, and 1 for my brother. And a 5th as a server for our internet connection.
My personal rule of thumb is this, take the number of people who live in your house over the age of 2 and multiply by 2. The result is the number of computers you need in a house.
But then I'm an addict. -

Four computers. One is very old and the other not a very good Compaq computer. I'll have to keep the Pentium 4's.
