  1. has anyone tried this program. They claim that you can fit an entire dvd onto a single cd without any loss of quality. I don't buy it but I wanted to see if one has tried the program out.

Don't was your money on that product.

It includes many well know FREE programs. The people selling this program are ripping off the developers/programmers and of course YOU.

Fitting a DVD on a CD requires reencoding. To put it as simply as possible you are turning a high bitrate MPEG2 into either : Mpeg1 (VCD) or MPEG4 (divx). There WILL BE 'quality' loss (this is percived differently by many people of course) because you are trying to take ... say a 5 Gb movie and fit it on a 700 Mb CD. How do i do this ..... by lowering the bitrate - no magic !!

Their statement : "Do you want to compress DVD movies to a single CD without any loss of quality " - IS PURE FICTION

Read the 'How To" then goto the 'tools' section and grab the programs you need.

And if you feel real ambitious just get a peer-to-peer (KaZaA / Gnutella ) and download their package for free.
