OK, I will try to explain this problem as simply as I can and any help would be greatly appreciated:
I rip DVD using Smartripper, it is a DVD-5, my rip method is Backup, then I have a folder called VIDEO_TS, then I create a folder called AUDIO_TS which is empty and in the same directory. (If I use the File rip-method like it suggests in this ripping guide called Newbie DVD2DVD-R Guide (http://www.dvd2dvdr.com/) and I do not get a folder created, which is strange because I have mad a few other DVD-5 copies this way and it worked fine.)
Then I open PrimoDVD, select File, New, Data Disc, when I add the folders everything looks OK, it says my VIDEO_TS folder size is 4,395.15MB, so I click on Test and Record, if OK, and it gives me an estimated time of nearly 2 hours, seems ok to me. Anyhow, after the 2nd coaster, I decided to sit and watch it work, and this is what happened, in the bar that shows you what the program is doing (Initializing, %, Finalizing, etc.), after initializing it shows me that total size is only 23MB and boom it's done testing in about 2 minutes, and is trying to supply me with another coaster in the next 2 minutes.
Can someone tell me what the hell is going on?
Am I ripping wrong or is there a setting wrong during burning or what?
Like I said though, I have successfully made a few other copies this way with no problem. By the way the DVD is Billy Madison, if anyone knows of any issues like this with that specific title? I don't know, just trying to give as much info as I can, so someone can help me.
Thanks.
