My Abit KR7A-133 came with 2 USB (1.1) pin layouts on the mobo.
The one on the back of the machine come with a hookup for the plugs. The extra one is marked USB2. I wanted to get one of those adapters for front panel access. I tried one called Jet Panel but the plug they gave didn't fit on the mobo pins.
What have people used to connect to their extra USB connection?
The one on my mobo is layed out like this (top down view)
USB2 (stamped on mobo)
there's no pin where the '-' is marked.
The mobo doesn't mention where pin 1 is either.
thanks

Some USB connectors on motherboards come with 4 pins, some come with 5 pins. But the 4th and 5th pins are both ground lines and the other 3 pins are arranged the same way. You can generally use the same adapters for both. If your motherboard doesn't have the connector labeled you'll have to look in the manual to find which end is which.
