  1. Hi,

I have an AVI file which VirtualDub reported as 402x240, 23.976. When I try to convert to SVCD using TMPGenc 2.5.8. The video display has blue, green and red line acroos horizontallly. The left most screen is displayed on the right side of the screen and its kind of jagged downwards.

Any suggestion or help is much apreciated.

  3. Hello,

No, when I play in powerDVD and WMP 7.0 it play fine. The video only get like this when I tried to encode it with TMPGenc 2.58.

I notice that besides the horizontal lines, the video seems to tilt toward the top left and the left potion of the video comes back to the right.

    Kind of like this:-
    ______________
    \ \
    \ \
    \ \
    \ \
    _______________

    Thanks for any help

  4. Do you have any other version of TMPGEnc you can try? I've seen some complain about mpeg2 and 2.58 ver. I assumed you load the right template on this.

Make sure you don't have the SMR (Angel portion) codec installed, also check your direct Show priorities.

    Select options > environmental settings
    click the VFAPI plug-in tab
right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4
