Hi everyone, hope someone can help me out with this. I recently captured about three and a half minutes of dv video from a sony dv handycam through firewire and burned the avi to disc. I'm now trying to convert this avi to svcd using tmpgenc on a different computer which has no firewire port or prior capturing software installed. I installed both the dv codecs on this site but tmpg still only encodes blank video and audio no matter what i do. I can get the original dv video to play in windows media player but no audio with it. Are there any special dv codecs I need to convert with tmpg other than the ones on this site since they didn't work for me? It's been bugging me for about two weeks now and I desperately need to find a solution. Thanks.
