Hi folks,
I have been using Windows Movie Maker to capture, then encode to DV-AVI but the audio is out of sync with some of the clips I created...how annoying. Why does this happen?
What would you recommend I use to capture and in what format? I have Adobe Premiere 6.0...should I use that?
Also, should I then encode to MEG1 using TMPGEmc to give me better quality? It appears to do a bang up job. I then create VCD's for play on my DVD Player.
Let me know, I need some sound advice here.
Thanks,
Magma

You may capture using Premiere IEEE 1394 Firewire (or even the free DVIO.exe) to capture and edit using Premiere. Then frameserve to TMPGEnc to produce VCD/SVCD/DVD compliant MPEG files. Check if this also causes audio sync problem.
