    We just bought a GM Envoy with on board entertainment system. Does anyone know what the compatibilities are with it? It can play commercial CD music and commercial DVD's, but what about DVD-R's and other home grown DVDs? It definitely does not play SVCD or VCD. thank you .

    a friend of mine told me it would not play anything at all except store bought pressed disks ..
