    I recently hacked my Magnovox 450 to be region free, but all I get is a black & White picture where the framing is off (the bottom 1/8 of the image is cut off and restored to the TOP of the TV screen, much like a misaligned 16mm projector image). I assume its a PAL/NTSC problem, but is there more I can do to fix the image?

    Greetings,

    Have you changed your TV type to be NTSC from multi ? The hack only allows multiple regions to be played. You still have to tell the DVD player to convert from PAL to NTSC. I suspect it's putting PAL out at the moment.
