Whats the difference between ntsc 16.9 525 lines,pal 16.9 625 lines and 16.9 under video source setting in tmpgenc.

If i have a widescreen movie to encode to vcd and its pal 16.9 would i b better off setting the video source to pal 16.9 625 lines or just 16.9 ,as under video stream settings where u choose what u want the mpeg to b there is only a 16.9 525 lines and a 16.9 625 lines.


Also does any one know what 2.11:1 and 1:1vga is ?


Also if i have a divx to convert to vcd 16.9,should i change the source setting from 1:1vga to 16.9 525 lines for ntsc and 625 lines for pal.As if i leave it on vga the ratio dont seem right once converted to vcd.
