  1. I recently purcahsed a Panasonic DMR E30. I'm sick of paying $4 to $5 a DVD-R from the local retailers. I've read some of the various posts on this forum about DVD-R experinces that many of you have had and I think I have narrowed down to a couple of cheaper brands like Meritline but would love some feedback on reasonably priced DVD-Rs that you have had good success with Thanks!!!! 8)

  2. I have been using Accu-DVD-R from meritline for $109.00 for 100 discs. So far I have burned about 15-20 discs & they all play in all of my 6 dvd players, even my Pioneer-525 which is the pickiest of my players. I tried some other cheap media from Meritline but some would stop & stutter while playing near the end of the dics. So far the Accu-DVD-r work the best for cheap media. I have just seen them for about $84.00 for 100 packs on another sight.

  3. if you find a cheap one that works for your needs then use it. ask for samples or guarantees on media. if you plan to give these out and or sell them then i suggest memorex @ buy.com a little over 3 bux a piece and free shipping right now.
ive had rocky results with the cheap stuff so i rely on only memorex

I've had good luck with the Meritline 2x brand (about $3/each) and the high quality 1x DVD-R's ($13.99 for 10) over a small sample size (about 5 disks of each kind). So YMMV but I've had success in limited quantities.

Use the DVD-R section of this site.
Those using Accu-DVD-R, have you posted your reviews in that section?

There has been tons of info posted on this subject, but it's spread all over the place. Hard to find.

Thats why Baldrick made the DVD-R section, so the info can be easy to find.

    Use it!
