A friend of mine has bought the new Panasonic E30 DVD-R / -RW recorder, and we have done some test recordings to see how different players cope with the discs.
Short recordings play back fine, but several players have problems playing back a long single recording, say of a movie, at about the 85 / 90 minute level in SP mode. The picture freezes up.
Have done several recordings on different brands of discs but they all happen around the same time.
If I record several Tv shows onto the disc, with a total playing time of 90 mins or greater, they all play back fine - it is only long single recordings that cause the playback problem on some players.
Any ideas why?
