    Is it possible to do a playout throug Firewire?? Eg. If I play a divx file or whatever file with media-player, is it possible to play them fullscreen out on fire-wire??? If anyone has some experience with this, or has an opinion about...please let me know...

    I am trying to get a way to record a movie directly on DV without encoding them first or play them out without my tv card(got me a crappy tvout on mij videocard)

    Althoug I respect every opinion about this topic, I am not waiting on stuff like convert them to vcd or svcd. Neither on commands like buy yourself a real tv card.I just want to know if there is a program around wich dierctly outputs to the firewire....so please don't come up with programs like premiere or avid. I know they can...

    No. The video must be converted to DV format.
