I'm a newbie and after much trial and error, I've pretty much refined my process of capturing and converting analog video to MPEG. After capturing I use VirtualDub to frame serve into TMPGEnc in order to create my MPEG1 or 2 file. Problem - I've noticed my final MPEG file has a lot of audible hiss. It probably originates with the source. I realize I could demux the audio, run it through something like Cool Edit Pro and then remux but I'm thinking a shorter route might be to use VDub's filters when frameserving. Does anyone know if there are audio hiss reduction filters available to use with Virtual Dub???
Many thanks.
