i need a bit of help with this. on this site its got the hack so you can change your region code to what ever you want it to be. i have the chip in my player and ive changed the code to region one but the disc still doesnt play in my machine (pioneer 626D). i only bought the RCE disc coz it said on www.play.com that it would work in my machine so i was just wondering if anyone else has a pioneer 626D that plays RCE discs? or if you know how its suposed to work.

As far as I know, its not possible to make a Pioneer player region free by using the remote to enter a 'hack'.

HOWEVER

You should be able to play DVDs from any other region.

PLEASE, PLEASE! Vote on the poll connected to my post, even if this doesn't work - no-one yet has even replied but as far as I can see, there are no other multiple-machine pioneer hacks apart from mine! Where's all my thanks?!? Just kidding!
