What player should I get? - My Apex died
My Apex AD-3201 DVD player just died after 6mo of service. The tray stopped ejecting and it makes a very bad noise while trying to do so.
I called apex and they are willing to fix it for $49.00. They said that very few of there players have ever had this problem and almost no one had ever called in about it. Is it worthwhile to fix a $100 player for $49 or should I just get a new one.
If I should get a new one what sub $200 player is best for playing DVD+R's? It would also be nice to have s video out. I think I would like to stay away from apex if possible.

RCA rc5240p has been the best DVD player for me. Plays all my vcd's on cd-r and cd-rw. I use Memorex. Played a dvd-r that I already had.
