  1. Hello all,
I finally got rid of my f(*^&^ing Toshiba drive that wouldn't allow DMA and skipped alot. Now my new Compaq DVD drive works beautifully and I am FINALLY ripping movies in 15 minutes as opposed to over an hour. BUT, when I use Smartripper it hangs the whole system unless I use the noaspi.bat file. Then everything works fine. Is there some reason this is happening? Should I be concerned? It works beautifully if I run Smartripper that way. Help?
