Need Player that plays avi's on TV w/ Creative Encore Dxr 3

First of all: Hello from Germany

I have a Hardware DVD Decoder Card with TV-Output (Creative Encore Dxr 3)

Up to now my DVD-Software was from Creative ... it plays DVD's mpg's and dat's ... but not avi's! This program had a simple option where you could switch to TV and voila, it showed on TV.

Does anybody know what i have to do to watch avi's on TV over my Decoder Card???

I also have WinDVD and PowerDVD ...both of them DO play *.avi's ... but i couldnt find a TV Option

I don' know the answer but i will ask you if this decoder card play SVCD disc. (in file or in disc mode)

I'm having holywood plus from sigma design and i'm using stuff that's called hhplus. It plays avi's and mpeg's on my tv. You should try it, but i guess it doesn't work with creative stuff??
